A.D. Miller is a Los Angeles based creative studio founded by architect and designer Adam Miller. The studio's work spans from architecture and interiors to sculptures, lighting, and homeware products.
Trained in architecture and design in the US and Denmark, Adam’s design philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach that emphasizes the value of designing at all scales. His time living in Italy further developed his appreciation for the art of storytelling through every piece he creates. Each project is approached with the aim of creating powerful yet quiet gestures, while emphasizing honesty in materiality. Prior to founding his studio, Adam gained over 10 years of experience working for award-winning architects in the Los Angeles area. He is a licensed architect in the states of California and New York, and is a dual citizen of the US and Italy.
Adam’s designs are included in the permanent collections of the Design Museum Gent in Belgium, and the Museum Angewandte Kunst in Germany. He was the recipient of the 2022 German Design Gold Award.
