The Desert Residence is designed to fit naturally within the unique Joshua Tree landscape.  The exterior facade contains an integral color to match the surrounding earth. While much of the region contains mid-century architecture with an abundance of glass, this project references an earlier era of desert architecture with the use of thick walls for insulation and specific framed views.
