Van Den Weghe Items (Belgium)

The Vault Lamp is a collaboration with Van Den Weghe, the renowned Belgian stone company. The lamp is fabricated from a solid block of titanium travertine. The design aims to have a strong presence in a space, whether the lamp is illuminated or sitting dormant. The form has various references from the costume design of Stanley Kubrick’s ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ to Le Corbusier’s Borne Béton concrete lamp.
